Tribbles Boitel Suffers Injury Saturday, April 3rd, 2032 Rosewell shortstop Ricky Boitel suffered a season-ending injury running the bases in today's game against the Grognards. According to club doctors Boitel has a ruptured medial collateral ligament. Although Boitel has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. This year Boitel has collected a .183 batting average to date with 30 hits in 164 at-bats, 8 RBIs, 2 home runs and scored 16 times. He has played in 45 games. |
