Scottsdale's Connel to Miss Season Thursday, March 11th, 2032 Chris Connel of the Scorpions just might have to call it quits for the season. The 22-year-old Scottsdale starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Barbados Revenge recently at The Drunken Wench Stadium. Connel suffered an arthritic elbow while throwing a pitch. The Scorpions medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 5 months. In 10 starts this season Connel has rung up a 3-2 record and a 1.71 ERA. |
