Carpenter Earns CFL Player of the Week Monday, March 8th, 2032 20-year-old Colin Carpenter made a few Bron-Y-Aur headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Cecil Fielder League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 23 at-bats to put up a .478 average. Carpenter collected 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and scored 6 runs. On the year Carpenter has hit .427 with 19 home runs, 40 RBIs and scored 28 runs. |
