Carpenter Slaps 5 Hits Wednesday, March 3rd, 2032 It was a parade of hits for Colin Carpenter of the Bron-Y-Aur Stompers at Bonzo's Montreux today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Carpenter finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Stompers to a 11-10 victory. "Carpenter was really good and we were really bad," groaned Nutcrackers manager Richard Lawson. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Colin Carpenter singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Sergio Padilla in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 10th.
