Quiroz's Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Thursday, February 26th, 2032 The Sedona Sabercats fell to the Yuma Varmits in The Range today, even as 18-year-old shortstop Robbie Quiroz upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Quiroz finished with 1 hit in 3 at-bats, but could not stop the Sabercats from dropping the 4-3 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Quiroz. Robbie Quiroz grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 5th and flied out in the 7th.
