Bahena Ups Hit Streak to 25 Consecutive Games
Friday, February 20th, 2032
The Rosewell Tribbles may have proven to be mere mortals today as they lost 12-4 to the Wichita Storm, but Alex Bahena continued to hit like a god.

The second baseman collected 1 hit in 3 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 25 games.

"Bahena is playing great and is on fire right now," Tribbles manager Anthony Mays said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins."

Bahena was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss."
Alex Bahena singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, walked in the 5th and flied out in the 8th.

Looking at his stats this year, Bahena has compiled a .338 batting average, while hitting 7 home runs and driving in 23 runs. He has played in 33 games and scored 23 runs.
