Lookingbill Gone for Season in Normal
Saturday, January 31st, 2032
The doctors have spoken and Kunikazu Lookingbill of the Normal Nutcrackers didn't like what he heard. The 20-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Lookingbill sustained his season-ending injury during the Montreal Cardinals game yesterday at Denis Coderre Stadium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Normal medical staff reported Lookingbill had a damaged elbow ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 11-12 months.
