Jorge Vázquez Hurt, Out for Year Sunday, January 18th, 2032 The doctors have spoken and Jorge Vázquez of the Wichita Storm didn't like what he heard. The 20-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Vázquez sustained his season-ending injury during the Sedona Sabercats game yesterday at The Storm Center. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Wichita medical staff reported Vázquez had a torn rotator cuff and would be absent from the lineup for at least 8-9 months. |
