This year's Cy Young Award winner stood out by running up an impressive 6-2 record, holding opposing hitters to a .266 batting average and posting a 3.69 ERA. The 16-year-old hurler tossed 92.2 innings, gave up 97 hits, fanned 105 and issued 30 walks. Leo Molina of the Seminole Warhawks finished second in voting, while Kevin Shea of the Carl Albert Titans finished third. |
