Hit Streak Now at 25 for Barnes Tuesday, May 16th, 2034 The Pleasantville Panthers stopped the Grand Island Islanders today 18-9 and Ryan Barnes collected a base hit yet again. The Pleasantville left fielder finished with 4 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Barnes told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Ryan Barnes walked in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, walked in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
