Olivas 5-for-5 Against Billings West Wednesday, May 3rd, 2034 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Nelson Olivas is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-5 against the Billings West Golden Bears at River Otters Ballpark today. The monster effort from the 15-year-old right fielder helped the Santa Clara Vampires take the win, 11-6. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Golden Bears manager Brian Neyman. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Nelson Olivas singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
