Gone Again! 3 HR for Elliott Wednesday, May 3rd, 2034 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Ballpark of Morelia HS buzzing, Grand Island Islanders left fielder Daniel Elliott blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 12-5 win over the Pitman High Panthers. "Everything was clicking," Elliott told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Elliott shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Islanders manager Doug Taylor said. "Daniel played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Daniel Elliott hit a solo-shot off Devon Ferguson in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Devon Ferguson in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off John Bisson in the 6th and walked in the 8th. To date, Elliott has collected 84 hits for a .380 average. He has posted 13 home runs, scored 61 runs and driven in 69 runs. |
