Hit Streak Now at 25 for Boyd Tuesday, May 2nd, 2034 Darius Boyd of the Enterprise Hornets tagged 2 hits in today's 10-5 loss to the Jacksonville State Jaguars at Oranges Ballpark to run his hitting streak to 25 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 25-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Darius Boyd singled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 7th. So far this season Boyd has hit .425 with 1 home run, 21 RBIs and scored 30 times. |
