Durant's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Saturday, April 29th, 2034 Evan Durant collected 3 hits in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the Carl Albert Titans, beat the Grand Island Islanders 10-5. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Durant quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Evan Durant hit a solo-shot off Connor Scales in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 7th. This year Durant is hitting .354 with 14 home runs and 46 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .451 clip and scored 42 runs. |
