Boyd Keeps Hit Streak Alive Wednesday, April 26th, 2034 Darius Boyd, right fielder for the Enterprise Hornets, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 2-1 victory today over the Riverside Poly at Apollos Ballpark today. "Not the outcome we wanted," Riverside manager Gary Corwin said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Darius Boyd walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th and struck out in the 7th. Hitting .410 to date, Boyd has 1 home run and 19 RBIs. He has played in 24 games. |
