Injury Sidelines Caspar Tamburrino for Season

The season is finished for Caspar Tamburrino of the Montreal Cardinals. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Cardinals reliever suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Carl Albert Titans. Team doctors said it would take at least 4-5 months to heal.
Taking a look at his season stats for 2034, Tamburrino has made 14 relief appearances, recorded 1 save and compiled a 3-1 won-lost mark with a 5.24 ERA. In pitching 34.1 innings, he has totaled 51 strikeouts and 20 walks.
