Mark Dowell Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Tuesday, April 18th, 2034 The season is finished for Mark Dowell of the Francis Lewis Patriots. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Patriots reliever suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Tenafly Tigers. Team doctors said it would take at least 7-8 months to heal. For the season his stats show Dowell has no saves in 10 relief appearances with a 2-1 record and 8.22 ERA. |
