Durant Launches 3 HR for Titans Saturday, April 15th, 2034 Whatever Evan Durant ate for breakfast before his game against the Kearny High Cardinals today, it gave him some impressive power. The Carl Albert first baseman smacked three balls up and out of the park at Zebras Ballpark. His home run barrage led the Titans to take the 16-8 victory over the Cardinals. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 3-for-3, scored 5 times, drove in 7 and put on a display that history will remember. Evan Durant hit a two-run home run off Nate Lawson in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Nate Lawson in the 2nd, walked in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Martin Cosman in the 6th and walked in the 8th. Durant is hitting .368 so far this season with 33 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 50 hits including 10 home runs, 27 walks and .476 OBP. |
