Santa Clara Snaps McKissick's Streak at 21 Tuesday, April 11th, 2034 All good things must come to an end -- and so it was today for Bill McKissick as he saw his 21-game hitting streak end. He went hitless in 4 at-bats at the hands of the Santa Clara Vampires. It wasn't all bad for the 15-year-old left fielder and the Canby Lancers however, as they defeated Santa Clara 13-2 at Ballpark of Villahermosa HS. When asked about his hitting streak, a smiling McKissick laughed and said, "I guess my luck ran out today." Currently McKissick has 6 home runs and a .331 batting average. |
