Wallace Socks it to Hornets, Cracks 5 Hits Saturday, April 8th, 2034 It was a sensational day at the plate for San Marin Mustangs shortstop Cody Wallace, but a tough one for the team, as the Mustangs dropped the contest 17-8 to the Enterprise Hornets. Even with the loss, Wallace was pure misery for the Enterprise pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked after going 5-for-5 in an explosive display of hitting. "It's always good to get a bunch of hits in a game, but you also want to win," said Wallace, who is the 15-year old shortstop . "Wallace really hit the ball hard and when you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage," Hornets manager Yassin Flament told BNN reporters after the game. "I feel like we threw him some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Cody Wallace singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
