Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for McKissick Saturday, April 8th, 2034 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Bill McKissick did it again, bashing 1 hit in the contest at Osprey Ballpark today. For the last 20 games in a row, the 15-year-old left fielder has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Canby Lancers beat the George Washington Patriots 10-6 today. "I'm happy I kept the streak going," McKissick told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Canby clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Bill McKissick grounded out in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. McKissick is currently batting .344 with 6 home runs, 32 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 43 hits in 125 at-bats. |
