15 Ks for Kelley, Beats Canby 12-3 Thursday, April 6th, 2034 Led by an outstanding performance from starter John Kelley, the George Washington Patriots topped the Canby Lancers today by a score of 12-3 at Osprey Ballpark. The 15-year-old Kelley brought his top game to the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing 7 hits and giving up no walks. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Lancers manager Cody Coffman said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." So far this season Kelley has compiled a 4-0 record with a 1.82 ERA. View Boxscore View Game Log |
