Aguilar Rips Pitman High for 6 Hits
Tuesday, March 28th, 2034
There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 6 hits in a day.
Carlos Aguilar is one of those rare few, as he went 6-for-6 against the Pitman High Panthers at Batfish Ballpark today. The monster effort from the 15-year-old right fielder helped the Santa Clara Vampires take the win, 24-9.
"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Panthers manager Juan Lopez. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today."
Carlos Aguilar hit an RBI triple in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, walked in a run in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
This year Aguilar is hitting .368 with 2 home runs and 17 RBIs in 20 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .423 with 9 walks and 17 runs scored.
