Francis Lewis Starting Pitcher Out Saturday, June 4th, 2033 Playoff hopes of Patriots player Sam Berg have been dealt a blow today after tests revealed the starting pitcher suffered a torn labrum throwing a pitch in today's game against Jefferson Indians. Berg is expected to miss up to 10-11 months, effectively ruling him out of the playoffs. This year Berg has posted a 11-0 mark in 14 starts and has a 2.67 ERA. |
