Sullins Collects HAL Pitching Award Wednesday, June 1st, 2033 There's something about a young rookie winning the Hank Aaron League Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Justin Sullins, a 15-year-old starter for the Grand Island Islanders. In May, he topped off the month with a 4-0 mark and 1.65 ERA in 4 starts, tossed 32.2 innings, fanned 52 and held opposing teams to a .195 average. This year Sullins has compiled a 10-3 record with a 3.48 ERA in 15 starts. |
