Star of the Week Selected in HAL Monday, May 16th, 2033 So far in his young career, Brian Horton has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Hank Aaron League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 18-year-old Grand Island Islanders shortstop hit at a torrid .545 clip as he collected 12 hits in 22 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 6 runs scored. So far this season Horton is batting .318 with 5 home runs, 33 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He has 68 hits in 214 at-bats, 18 walks and a .371 OBP. Horton has played in 53 games. |
