Season May Be Over for Patriots Collier Saturday, May 14th, 2033 Francis Lewis reliever Brandon Collier suffered a season-ending injury throwing a pitch in today's game against the Tigers. According to club doctors Collier has a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. Although Collier has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. For the season Collier has made 10 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 0-1 won-lost mark and a 6.95 ERA. In pitching 22 innings, he has totaled 29 strikeouts and 15 walks. |
