Weil Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Friday, May 13th, 2033 It was a good day for the Poly at Chickenhawks Stadium as they clipped the Jacksonville State Jaguars, 8-5. It was tremendous day for Aiden Weil, who was on a hitting barrage at the plate, finishing 5-for-6. "I don't know what to call that," the Riverside first baseman told reporters after his big performance. "I'm not 'dialed in' or 'in a zone,' I just try to keep it simple. Basically the pitcher throws the ball, I try to pick up the spin, then I hit it. Today I picked up the spin pretty well." Aiden Weil struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Todd Ridley in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. This season Weil is swinging the bat at a .332 pace. He has hit 13 home runs and scored 39 times, while driving in 51. His on-base percentage is .418 and he has played in 59 games.
