Burch Batters Pitman High for 5 Hits Thursday, May 12th, 2033 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Jefferson's Jason Burch made it happen today against the Panthers. Everything came together at the plate for the 17-year-old catcher as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Indians to a 21-5 win at Ballpark of Monterrey HS. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Burch said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Jason Burch singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Doug Hunt in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
