Speaking after the game, Pitman High Panthers manager Juan Lopez said "Anderson had everything going for him today." He changed speeds effectively, stayed down, had a lot of movement," he said. "He was masterful." Anderson rung up 6 strikeouts and surrendered 4 walks in the game. "We couldn't get anything going. He certainly had our number," Santa Clara manager Juan Proenza told reporters.
