Vampires Blanked by Anderson

Jonathan Anderson held the Santa Clara Vampires to 7 hits and fashioned a fine 6-0 shutout at Batfish Ballpark today.
Speaking after the game, Pitman High Panthers manager Juan Lopez said "Anderson had everything going for him today."
He changed speeds effectively, stayed down, had a lot of movement," he said. "He was masterful."
Anderson rung up 6 strikeouts and surrendered 4 walks in the game.
"We couldn't get anything going. He certainly had our number," Santa Clara manager Juan Proenza told reporters.
This year Anderson has recorded a 1-6 mark. In 8 starts he has fanned 49 batters in 51.2 innings with a 8.54 ERA.
