McMahill Shines in Gem Thursday, April 14th, 2033 Seth McMahill shut out the Central Tech Blues 14-0 on a 3-hit masterpiece for the Riverside Poly at Apollos Ballpark today. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Riverside skipper Gary Corwin said afterward. McMahill registered 14 strikeouts and issued 2 walks in pitching a gem. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Central Tech manager Yassin Flament after the defeat.
