PRL's Star Player Named Monday, April 11th, 2033 Canby Lancers third baseman Bryce Pope walked away with the Pete Rose League Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Lancers fans are really behind me right now," said the 18-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Pope batted .571 (16-for-28) with 4 home runs and 15 RBIs this week on his way to the award. Batting .409 to date, Pope has 11 home runs and 44 RBIs. |
