Berg Wins PRL Top Pitcher Award Friday, April 1st, 2033 There's something about a young rookie winning the Pete Rose League Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Sam Berg, a 17-year-old starter for the Francis Lewis Patriots. In March, he topped off the month with a 4-0 mark and 2.38 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 34 innings, fanned 36 and held opposing teams to a .236 average. |
