Bolten Rips Central Tech for 5 Hits

Gabriel Bolten was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at Oranges Ballpark, the Canby right fielder blistered the Central Tech Blues for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a 22-15 victory.
"Bolten was too tough to get out today," Blues skipper Yassin Flament said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
Gabriel Bolten hit a three-run home run off Preston Wensel in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
This year Bolten is hitting .438, produced 18 RBIs and 2 home runs, scored 16 times and gotten on base at a .533 rate.
