Lannigan Has 32-Game Hitting Streak Sunday, March 27th, 2033 Topeka West right fielder Eddie Lannigan keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 32 games after collecting 2 hits at Loggers Ballpark today. The Chargers took the 7-5 victory over the Kearny High Cardinals. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Lannigan said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Eddie Lannigan walked in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 9th. So far in 2033 Lannigan is batting .494 with 9 home runs, 35 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has 41 hits in 83 at-bats and a .557 OBP. |
