Lannigan's Hit Streak Reaches 30 Games Friday, March 25th, 2033 Chargers right fielder Eddie Lannigan has extended his hitting streak to 30 games. He went 2-for-4 in today's game against the Carl Albert Titans. Topeka West won the ballgame 6-5. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Eddie Lannigan singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th and hit an RBI double in the 7th. Batting .493 to date, Lannigan has 9 home runs and 34 RBIs. |
