Avalos Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Friday, March 18th, 2033 Juan Avalos collected 1 hit in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the Jefferson Indians, beat the Carl Albert Titans 8-7. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Avalos quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Juan Avalos struck out in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.
