Kearny High Blanked by Cardello Monday, March 14th, 2033 All went well for Dan Cardello of the Pitman High Panthers as he pitched his team to a 3-0 shutout victory over the Kearny High Cardinals, limiting them to 5 hits. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Cardello on the day. "Dan's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Panthers manager Juan Lopez. "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful." In the contest, the Pitman High right-hander rang up 9 and surrendered no walks.
