Hit Streak Now at 20 for Rowan Monday, March 14th, 2033 Jeff Rowan's hitting streak is becoming the talk of San Marin. The 17-year-old center fielder extended it once again today, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 2-for-4 performance against the College Park. The Mustangs took the game, 4-3. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Jeff Rowan doubled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, struck out in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th. This season Rowan has hit at a .345 clip with 9 RBIs, 0 home runs and 6 runs scored. |
