Aldridge Decides on Football Career, Passes on Baseball Thursday, September 9th, 2032 Riverside multi-sport star Mike Aldridge has decided to discontinue his baseball career and focus full-time on his football career. Despite his love of baseball, Aldridge says he likes his prospects on the gridiron better than the diamond. "It was a tough decision, but I think this is the right one for me," said the Poly starting pitcher. Aldridge, considered to be a standout defensive end, is projected as a late 1st or 2nd round pick in the upcoming NFL draft. |
