If he wasn't already a household name in LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL, Sam Berg of the Francis Lewis Patriots certainly is now.

He has a bright future ahead of him after today being named the winner of the 2032 Pete Rose League Most Valuable Player Award, at the age of only 17.

"I feel like I'm getting better all the time, so I'm looking forward to the years to come," said the ace, who this year put up a 8-2 record.

Overall, Berg made 15 starts and pitched 104.2 innings, racking up 106 strikeouts with 32 walks and a 2.58 ERA.

Ryan Nichols of the Topeka West Chargers finished second in voting, while Trey Puglisi of the Topeka West Chargers finished third.
