Savage Tops All, Wins HAL Most Valuable Player Award
Thursday, June 17th, 2032
Not only has Dedrick Savage been named winner of the 2032 Hank Aaron League Most Valuable Player Award, he's done it at an age when many of his peers are still trying to establish themselves in LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL.

"I feel fortunate to win this award at age 16," he said. "I feel like I still have my best years ahead of me. Hopefully I can put my name on this trophy a few more times."

The College Park ace had a 10-3 record over 13 starts and 91 innings. He struck out 111, issued 27 walks and had an impressive 2.37 ERA.

Batters hit only .225 against him during the season.

Bruce Allison of the Pleasantville Panthers finished second in voting, while Jim Riggs of the Pitman High Panthers finished third.
