HAL Gives Best Pitcher Award
Wednesday, June 16th, 2032
He's in the early phase of his career, but this past season Dedrick Savage performed like a veteran on the hill for the College Park and walked away with the Hank Aaron League Cy Young Award in the process.
The 16-year-old Park star fashioned a 10-3 won-loss record in 2032 with a 2.37 ERA. In 91 innings of work and 13 starts, Savage struck out 111 while giving up 78 hits and 27 walks. He held opposing batters to a .225 average.
Jim Riggs of the Pitman High Panthers finished second in voting, while Seth McMahill of the Riverside Poly finished third.
