Holman Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Friday, May 21st, 2032 The hitting streak for Downsview right fielder Karl Holman now stands at 20 games, but the Mustangs dropped today's contest 5-3 to the Santa Clara Vampires. Holman went 2-for-4 in the game. "Things went well for me personally today," he said later. "I got 2 hits and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Karl Holman singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, doubled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. For the season Holman is batting .338 with 45 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 29 times and batted in 27. |
