Tioga Central Snaps Delisle's Streak at 32
Thursday, May 20th, 2032
The Tioga Central Tigers got more than the 5-4 victory at Alleycats Ballpark today -- they also put an end to the 32-game hitting streak of Montreal Cardinals right fielder Steve Delisle by holding him without a hit in 3 at-bats.

After the game, Delisle seemed more concerned with his team taking the loss than with the demise of his streak.

"I had some great looks at some pitches that I should have hit," he said. "I missed some that I shouldn't have swung at. All in all, I wasn't much help with the bat today."

This season Delisle is batting .374 with 98 hits, 8 home runs, 38 RBIs, .468 OBP and has scored 58 runs.
