Delisle Has 32-Game Hitting Streak Wednesday, May 19th, 2032 Steve Delisle, right fielder for the Montreal Cardinals, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 32 games with 1 hit in his club's 2-1 victory today over the Tioga Central Tigers at Alleycats Ballpark today. "Not the outcome we wanted," Tioga Central manager Gabriel McKinnes said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Steve Delisle walked in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, walked in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Delisle's current batting average stands at .378 and he has chalked up 8 home runs and 38 RBIs. |
