Delisle Hits in 30 Consecutive Games Monday, May 17th, 2032 Steve Delisle of the Montreal Cardinals has now hit safely in 30 straight games. He socked 1 hit in today's 6-5 triumph over Topeka West at Nezahualcoyotl HS Grounds. "30 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Delisle said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Steve Delisle doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and walked in the 9th. This year Delisle is batting .382 with 96 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 56 times and has batted in 38 runs. |
