Big Day for Ignatov: Swats 5 Hits Monday, May 17th, 2032 Seminole second baseman Chris Ignatov had a big day at Silvertips Ballpark today against the San Marin Mustangs. The 17-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led the Warhawks to a 17-3 triumph over San Marin. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Ignatov said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Chris Ignatov hit a three-run home run off Victor Correa in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
