Delisle Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games

The number just keeps getting higher.
Montreal right fielder Steve Delisle has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 4 at-bats as the Montreal took the 5-3 win over the George Washington Patriots at Osprey Ballpark.
"Who knows how long it will go on?" George Washington manager Frank Robles said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Steve Delisle grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.
This season Delisle is swinging the bat at a .364 pace. He has hit 6 home runs and scored 44 times, while driving in 24. His on-base percentage is .456 and he has played in 52 games.
