Fujii on Fire: 5-for-6 for Francis Lewis Saturday, April 17th, 2032 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Yasutomo Fujii today -- a 5-hit day. He went on a rampage and sparkled on the diamond at Managua HS Grounds, but the performance lost a little luster when the Patriots were downed 9-8 by the Derby Panthers. After his glittering performance, the Francis Lewis second baseman told the press that he "just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat." His batting theory paid dividends today as he slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. "I just wish we had added a win in the record book today, too," Fujii said. Yasutomo Fujii singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Justin Watters in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 8th, singled in the 10th and singled in the 12th.
